The Pendleton Foundation for Black History & Culture is dedicated to preserving a key part of our Upstate heritage. We were honored to help brand and build out a variety of marketing materials for their biggest initiative yet, the Keese Barn Legacy Project. This project is a fundraiser, the goal of which is to raise money to construct a façade on the site of the Old Keese Barn – also known as “The Hundreds,” and a core part of Black Pendletonians’ history. Once we created a brand for the initiative, we re-built the PFBHC’s website with a special focus on the Legacy Project and developed a cohesive plan to support fundraising efforts. Organic social media, informative brochures and rack cards, a presentation, signage, and more all helped the PFBHC gain visibility for the Keese Barn Legacy Project and secure major donors quickly.
